Our approach
How we build AI and software, step by step
Good software comes from understanding the problem, making decisions together and testing honestly. Here is how a project with us runs — from the first conversation to the years after launch.
The process
Six stages, one team
- 01
Discover
We learn how your business works today and what problem is worth solving.
We talk to the people involved and look at the systems and data you already have. We write the problem down in plain language — and if AI or custom software isn't the right answer, we say so.
- Conversations with your team
- Review of current tools and data
- A clear problem statement
Outcome: A shared understanding of the problem and what success looks like.
- 02
Plan
We agree a focused first version, its scope and how we'll measure it.
We turn the problem into a scoped plan: what the first version must do, what can wait, the integrations involved and the risks. You get an estimate based on that scope.
- Scope and priorities
- Integration and data plan
- Estimate and milestones
Outcome: A written scope for version one, with clear priorities.
- 03
Design
We design the workflow, the interface and the architecture with you.
We map user journeys and system flows, then create interface designs and a technical plan. You see and comment on how it will work before development starts.
- User and workflow mapping
- Interface designs and prototypes
- Architecture review
Outcome: Designs and a technical plan you have reviewed.
- 04
Build
We develop in short iterations and show working software every week.
Work is split into small, reviewable pieces. Every change is code-reviewed, tested and demoed — you see progress as it happens, not at the end.
- Short development iterations
- Code review on every change
- Weekly demos
Outcome: Working software you can try throughout the project.
- 05
Launch
We test with real examples and release carefully, with monitoring in place.
Before launch we test with realistic data and edge cases. We release with monitoring and a rollback plan, then watch closely during the first days.
- Testing on real examples
- Monitored release
- Launch support
Outcome: A release you can trust, with known limitations documented.
- 06
Improve
We measure how it's used and keep making it better.
Software needs care after launch. We review usage and feedback, fix what we learn and plan the next improvements with you.
- Usage and quality reviews
- Improvements and new features
- Maintenance and support
Outcome: Software that keeps working — and gets better — after launch.
Working together
What you can expect from us
Clear scope before we start
You get a written description of what we'll build first, what's out of scope and how we'll judge success.
Weekly demos
Every week you see working software and decide what comes next. No long silences, no big reveal at the end.
Code review on every change
A second engineer reviews every change before it's merged. It catches problems early and keeps the codebase consistent.
Remote, across time zones
We work remotely with clients in different time zones and agree on overlapping hours and communication channels at the start.
Principles
What guides our decisions
Business first, technology second
We start from the process or product you need to improve, not from the latest tool. The right answer is sometimes a simple integration rather than AI.
Honest about what AI can do
AI models make mistakes. We design for that with review steps, logging and clear limits, and we tell you plainly where AI helps and where it doesn't.
Working software every week
You see progress as it happens. Weekly demos keep decisions quick and surprises rare.
Built to be maintained
Readable, reviewed and documented code, so your software can keep evolving — with us or with your own team.
Tell us what you're trying to get done.
Describe the process, product or problem in a few sentences. We'll give you honest feedback on whether and how we can help.
